AUTOMATED BARN DOORS
Private residence / Horse Farm / North Salem, NY
Mohegan was contracted to fabricate and install four sets of automated swinging barn doors, two sets of window shutters and four sliding barn doors.
All doors were fabricated using a galvanized steel frame clad with custom mahogany bead board. The automated garage doors were hung on 6" galvanized steel tubing using HD sealed-bearing, stainless steel hinges.
Automation was achieved using state-of-the-art FAAC model 400 hydraulic operators and control panel. For safety, we used reversing loops in the driveway, photobeams inside the doors and a reversing edge on the door to prevent pinch points.
